Insert the USB drive containing the files into the PS5 console.

Download the update file and save it in the “UPDATE” folder. Save the file as “PS5UPDATE.PUP”.

Using a PC or Mac, create a folder called “PS5” on the USB drive formatted as FAT32. Inside that folder, create another folder named “UPDATE”.

If the upgrade fails, please download the upgrade file yourself to a USB disk.
